Promoter: Those Interesting People Ltd, company number 16295081, registered office 8 Trumpington Drive, St Albans, AL1 2JP.
These terms apply to the Those Interesting People Ideas Fest 2026 prize draw.
1. Who can enter
The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
Employees of Those Interesting People Ltd, anyone directly involved in administering the draw, and members of their immediate household are not eligible to enter.
Only one entry per person will be accepted.
2. How to enter
Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
To enter, complete and submit the Ideas Fest prize draw form at thoseinterestingpeopleideasfest.subscribepage.io before the closing time.
You will be asked for your name, email address and the interesting thing you might like to talk about if you win.
Entering the prize draw does not require you to subscribe to marketing emails. Any marketing consent is entirely separate and optional.
3. Closing date
Entries close at 23:59 BST on Friday 18th September 2026.
Entries received after the closing time will not be included in the draw.
4. The prizes
There are three prizes.
Each winner will receive one 60-minute one-to-one Interesting Session with Jen Smith of Those Interesting People.
The session is a space to explore something useful to you. That might be a question, decision, idea, professional challenge, piece of thinking or something you simply want some proper space to work through.
The session may draw on coaching, mentoring, reflective practice and Jen’s business experience as appropriate to the conversation.
The sessions are not therapy and do not provide medical, legal, financial or other regulated professional advice.
Sessions will normally take place online. Any alternative arrangement must be agreed by both Jen and the winner.
The prize has no cash alternative and is not transferable or for resale.
Each prize must be used by 31 March 2027, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Professional fit
Before the session takes place, Jen and the winner may have a short conversation or exchange to confirm that the proposed topic is appropriate for the session.
If a conflict of interest, professional boundary, safeguarding concern or other ethical issue means Jen cannot appropriately work with a winner, Those Interesting People may offer an equivalent session with another suitable practitioner or select another winner.
6. Choosing the winners
Three winners will be selected at random from all valid entries.
The draw will use a computer process capable of producing verifiably random results, and Those Interesting People will keep reasonable evidence of the selection process.
Current CAP rules require prize-draw winners to be selected randomly and promoters to be able to demonstrate that the process was genuinely random.
7. Notification
The draw will take place by 16:00hrs BST on Monday 21 September 2026.
Winners will be contacted using the email address provided with their entry.
We will make reasonable efforts to contact each winner. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, is ineligible, declines the prize or cannot accept it under these terms, we may select another winner at random.
8. Winner information
To demonstrate that the prizes have been validly awarded, Those Interesting People may publish or make available information such as the surname and county of the winners.
Entrants may object to this information being published or ask for the amount of information disclosed to be reduced.
Where a winner objects, we will respect that request as far as reasonably possible, although we may still be required to provide winner information privately to the Advertising Standards Authority if challenged.
This reflects the current CAP rules on demonstrating that a valid award has taken place.
9. Personal information
Personal information supplied for the prize draw will be used to:
- administer the draw;
- contact winners;
- arrange prizes;
- deal with questions or complaints about the promotion; and
- meet any legal or regulatory obligations.
Prize-draw entry details will not automatically be used for marketing.
If you separately choose to receive emails from Those Interesting People, that marketing consent will be recorded separately and you can unsubscribe at any time.
ICO guidance is clear that consent given for a prize draw cannot simply be carried over to unrelated marketing, and marketing consent must be freely given and separate.
More information about how we use personal information is available in our Privacy Notice.
10. Fair administration
Those Interesting People reserves the right to disqualify an entry that is fraudulent, automated, incomplete, submitted in breach of these terms or otherwise not a genuine entry.
The promoter will administer the draw fairly and in good faith.
These terms will not be changed except where circumstances outside the promoter’s reasonable control make a change necessary and the change can be made fairly without causing unnecessary disadvantage to entrants.
11. Availability of the prize
Those Interesting People intends to provide the prizes exactly as described.
If circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control make that impossible, we may provide a reasonable equivalent.
We will not substitute a cash alternative.
12. Third parties
This promotion is run solely by Those Interesting People Ltd.
It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Ideas Fest, LinkedIn, MailerLite, Meta or any other third-party platform used to promote or administer the draw.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Entrants retain any mandatory rights they have under applicable consumer law.
